The story behind this painting is about remembering who we used to be. Surrounded by waterfalls, a heron looks into a golden mirror, but instead of seeing itself today, it sees its younger self.
The waterfalls represent time passing and how life is constantly changing. I wanted this painting to be a reminder that no matter how much we grow and change, the younger version of ourselves will always be a part of us.
